Laser cutting machines are tools that use lasers to cut all sorts of things. Light gets pointed at the thing we want to cut, and then through the lenses of this machine it shoots out a concentrated laser beam.
The light then makes contact with the object. The pressure and intense heat will eventually start melting or boiling it away. Once it’s gone, high-pressure gas will get shot at it over and over again until the
material has been completely cut through.
Some features include:Wide range of cutting materials: The machine can go through metals or other objects composed of different compounds without needing to change up its equipment. So long as we need something relatively small and within its size limits.
Fast cutting speed:The power is dependent on what you’re trying to cut, how thick said object is, and the type of gas used to help cut. Generally though, more power means faster cuts.
High cutting quality: Quality relies on beam quality, focusing precision, and control of cutting parameters. Beam quality should be easy enough to understand here along with focusing precision but “control of cutting parameters” just means how well you’re able to control everything else like temperature.
High cutting accuracy: Accuracy is based on how well you can aim, steady your hand (or in this case your workpiece), etc. A laser cutter could easily do millimeter-precise cuts but anything less than that might need another method.
Low cutting cost: Cuts cost money but since these lasers can do them so quickly there’s not much you need to worry about here. Even replacing parts or refilling your laser tank should be affordable because 3D printers tend to live under the same principle unless you’re using some super expensive materials
Simple and safe laser cutting machine: The operation of the laser cutting machine is very simple. It uses the CNC system to operate. You just need to input the graphics you want to cut into the system and it will take care of the rest. The friendly operating interface ensures that anyone can get the hang of using it with no problem at all.
Safety is a priority when designing something like a laser cutter so that’s what we’ve done here as well. We’ve made sure every component has been heavily tested and strictly designed so that there will be no accidents when using it.
